I am so completely enamored with photography. I've mentioned this quite a few times, but I am seriously investing in a high quality digital camera next month. Over the last few hours, I've scoured over the internet, seeking interesting (and often hard to save) pictures. While I mean absolutely no disrespect to the owners of these photos, I felt compelled to share them.
Pictures certainly do inspire thought. I'd love to hear your comments on your favorite ones and what each picture made you think of.

Not really in order...I don't think.
ReplyDelete1. The alley shot
2. The lone person at bus stop
3. The two beverages resembling elements
4. The overwhelming sky
5. The colorful city lights on water
6. Holding a grudge
1. This reminds me of china town. The form is almost unnatural looking, with the upper torso so clear, yet the legs are blurry. It also made me think of New Orleans.
2.The person at the bus stop reminded me of the late nights I would sell life insurance, and hoped no one would bother me. I love the lights in this pic. It's as though they're asking "what are you doing out here?" The color is awsome.
3. The red beverage looks as though it's reaching out to fondle the blue beverage, or hold it's...what ever that is.
4. The sky with the big clouds and pinkish blue background. it almost made me want to cover my eyes. It is overwhelming...as if God is looking at me, but I cant see him with my natural eye; though it feels like he's in my face.
5. This is my fav, because I love buildings--skyscrapers, projects with graffiti, slums. I wanted to know where it was. I wish I can go there. It also made me homesick, which most city pics do.
6. It makes you go hmmm, that's true.
1. I can definitely see china town in this. And that ability to alter the focus of a shot is why I love cameras capable of these type pictures.
ReplyDelete2. The blue in that picture is so amazing!! It does almost give a sense of nobody should be out here this late, but the lights...lol
3. Whatever that is...lmao...I know it makes you consider drinking it, if you stare at it long enough
4. The one with the pier, right? Like heaven just opened up and you don't know if you should bow, run, look away really fast...it is one of my favorites.
5. I think this is Singapore, which amazed me. Made me wish I could really go see the world.
6. It's very true. And I love how the mirror is behind it, so you can watch yourself as you read it...lol...a moment of revelation, indeed!
I think my favorites are the one with the sky and pier, because it's almost like too vivid to have possibly been real...seems like something out of the imagination....and the weathered looking man...his snarl/smile/sneer/grimace is such an awesome in the moment expression, and is also thought provoking....plus his beard makes me appreciate Rick Ross's...lmao
thank you for taking the time to comment :)
