I'm finding out that it takes a long time to make a playlist. But I love music, and it's a lot of fun. Hopefully, you'll enjoy this one. Basically my opinions on love range from being wide-eyed, giddy, and running towards it happily, to the disillusioned, heart-broken realist who believes that sometimes it's best to steer clear. I guess the reality lies somewhere in the middle. But I do appreciate all the added emotions and moods that love can produce. This playlist reflects many of them. Enjoy.

A Wonderfully Wicked Video, Indeed (Awesome Repost #5)
Riding the avenues of some of my favorite blogs, I discovered this video.
Shouts go out to SusuanaLove, the awesome Love music video child, indeed!! I love her take on this video.
As for the song, it is from their second album, and I like it since I've pretty much always been a fan of the Used. I really enjoyed how their third album (Lies for the Liars) finally put them on the map. The sound was a kind of Fall Out Boy meets My Chemical Romance meshing....which worked for me, since those are two of my favorite bands. But anyway.
I love this video, because of the aesthetic value. The combination of animation and all of the familiar themes fit well with the song. Might not be everyone's type of music, but perhaps those people can at least appreciate the artistry of the video.

A Reminder That Everybody Has a Story
I've been a very harsh critic of Nicki Minaj. Some of her lyrics just irk me and make me lose any possible respect for her. And then there are moments when I find myself nodding my head to a catchy song. But seeing this documentary made me realize that there is such a human side to all of these celebrities that the media spotlight can't possibly reflect. To family, friends, and those the closest to her, she is simply Onika Tanya Miraj, a young woman who in spite of all of the trials and hardships she faced growing up has been blessed with a lot of talent and the opportunity to live out her dreams. In anything that is human, there will be fault. So too, for Nicki Minaj.
