Just a Bit of Randomness (Maybe)

For those of you who could use a warm fuzzy feeling.....

(of course to you cynics, like me, who see the negative far too much...stop it, already!!!  lol)

Let's Get This Party Started Right

Greetings all.

A new year is upon us.  Last night, some of us spent the final moments of 2010 enjoying quiet time with the people we love.  Others united in moments of worship, even as some used the opportunity to squeeze the last few seconds of party out of a year going by.  There were those who spent those final seconds working.  Some reflected on the days gone by while contemplating the days to come.  Whether alone or in the company of others, all of us who are fortunate to still be living now stand at the dawn of a new year.

It might seem scary.  An entire new year is before you, with the possibility of life changing beginnings.  This might be a bit unsettling, since starting something new is often a nervous time.  But new beginnings can be wonderful things.  They don't have to be stressful and certainly don't need to be difficult.  Believing that something good is on the other side is the very first step.

So wake up tomorrow, prepared to move forward.  Even if it's the same old job that's been causing you tons of grief.  Find your silver lining and attempt to make it expand.  If there are things about yourself or your life that you'd like to change, first start with a plan.  Ask yourself why you feel you need this change.  If it'll make you better, then go for it.  Believe in yourself and the good that is in you.  Fight for what you want and do your best to become a better person and live a better life.  Things might be clouded with the darkness of uncertainty, but keep going.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.  Here's to basking in it, one day soon.

Theme Song of the Day, Jan. 1, 2011

The first theme of 2011!!!  Woo hoo!!!

Still going through a self reflection phase, wondering about all the little intricate details that make up me.

Train - I Am

Even if I'm not the man I want to be, yet, I have faith that I will eventually get there.
